Congratulations to Archie, from Sandford Hill Primary, who has been crowned the Junior Chef of the Year 2019! His winning dish 'The Hill Chicken Wrap' was marked top on taste, texture, appearance, creativity and best use of local ingredients.
Junior Chef of the Year requires KS2 pupils to prepare, cook and present a savoury dish for four people within 60 minutes. The competition's aim is to inspire children to have the confidence to try cooking - and we are always impressed with how these young chefs rise to this challenge!
This year was another fantastic competition promoting cooking skills and food knowledge across our schools. Well done to all those who took part!
